The International Ecotourism Society (TIES) is having its annual conference in Vancouver in October 2008 and has asked Offsetters to make the event Climate Friendly.
This is the Society's third conference on sustainable tourism in the U.S. and Canada. ESTC2008 will bring together 500+ experts, industry leaders and community stakeholders from across the region.
Hosted by the British Columbia Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts and the Council of Tourism Associations of British Columbia, the conference will provide opportunities for business leaders, travel and tourism professionals and community members to gain knowledge of the latest trends in ecotourism and sustainable tourism, learn practical skills, and participate in invaluable networking and knowledge sharing.
