Legacy Portfolio

The tonnes purchased from the 2010 Legacy Portfolio went towards offsetting the footprint of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

The 2010 Legacy Portfolio is a 50/50 blend of high quality offsets from two primary sources:

BC Projects
British Columbia is emerging as a world leader in the development of clean technology projects. Offsetters, along with a consortium of BC-based clean technology providers, are developing a series of demonstration projects in BC and around the world through to the end of 2012 that are specifically supported by VANOC and the 2010 Carbon Partners Program.

This 50/50 blended offering embraces the spirit of local development as well as the global significance of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games. It enables a mixture of project types, scales, and locales.
