There is immense potential to generate revenue through carbon credits from your company’s sustainable agricultural practices. For example, global agri-business Viterra Inc. launched a Carbon Credit Program in 2008 for Albertan producers who use GHG reducing management practices, facilitated by CCAMS – our ISO14064-conformant software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution for complete and cost effective carbon credit lifecycle management.

Using our CCAMS software, our agriculture clients can source, quantify, and aggregate emission offsets using the government-approved Alberta Offset System protocols and CSA’s GHG ISO 14064 specified Clean Project registry.

The entry point for agriculture-based markets consists of carbon sequestration via conservation tillage, summerfallow, methane capture, and planting shelterbelts and woodlots.
