Offsetters' New Marketing Manager Brings Relationship Savvy and Love of Green Buildings to the Team

Vancouver, BC – Kari Grist, Vice President,  Marketing and Client Engagement for Offsetters, is pleased to announce that  Melanie Wong is joining the team as Marketing Manager.

In her new role, Wong will be responsible for the creation and execution of both B2B and B2C marketing plans and strategies. She will also support the continuous evolution and building of the Offsetters brand

Wong holds a BA in Geography from UBC and for the past three years she was a member of Vancity’s marketing team. At Vancity, Wong was instrumental in planning and launching a number of the credit union’s green initiatives including Pure Home Insurance, the first home insurance policy in North America to make a home a safer and cleaner environment after a claim.   In Wong’s spare time, her volunteer work includes marketing support for a certified “Built Green” residential building company in Vancouver.

Prior to joining Vancity, Wong spent two years working for Aritzia as relationship marketing manager. She was responsible for planning and executing all web and customer relationship initiatives including re-launching the company’s award winning website and implementing an loyalty-based mobile messaging program.
