Members of the Aeroplan loyalty program in Canada, are invited to offset their flights or car rentals at time of redemption on the Aeroplan website. They are offered an offset purchase with Aeroplan Miles at time of redemption, calculated on average use of a car per day, or on the flight distance using a multiplier to compensate for emissions at altitude. Members can also directly go to www.aeroplan.com/offset to purchase offsets with miles, on their own, and where there is a calculator available to help them calculate household emissions.
