We pool some projects into portfolios because it allows us to manage the risks associated with any one project and offer a clear, standard price per tonne that averages out the costs of each project.

You can choose the portfolio you’d like your offset dollars to support.

For larger purchases with annual offset requirements exceeding 10,000 tonnes, we can even arrange custom-made portfolios or individual project purchases. Contact us to learn more.

General Portfolio
Offsetters General Portfolio includes an interesting variety of project types, locations, and standards – this is the portfolio 90% of our offset customers choose to support. It contains a mix of high quality offsets developed to best in class standards from Canada and around the world. See Projects.

Gold Standard Portfolio
The Gold Standard is the premium Voluntary Market credit. The Gold Standard uses Clean Development Mechanism and Joint Implementation methodologies, with a strong focus on projects that have added benefits, both social and environmental. See Projects.

Aimia Portfolio
The Aimia portfolio, formerly the Groupe Aeroplan portfolio, was custom designed exclusively for the world’s leading loyalty management company. Projects in the portfolio span the globe from Canada and the United States to a Gold Standard cookstove project in Uganda co-developed by Offsetters. See Projects.

Pacific Carbon Trust Portfolio
Offset projects in this portfolio are developed for Pacific Carbon Trust, a BC Crown Corporation established by the provincial government as part of an aggressive plan to address climate change. See Projects.

2010 Legacy Portfolio
The 2010 Legacy Portfolio is a 50/50 blend of high quality projects from BC-based clean technology projects and international Gold Standard projects that embraces the spirit of local development as well as the global significance of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games.
