Offsetters Appoints Kari Grist as new VP Marketing and Business Development
Vancouver, B.C. – Dr. James Tansey, President and Co-Founder of Offsetters today announced the appointment of Kari Grist as Offsetter’s new Vice President Marketing & Business Development.
“We are delighted to announce that Kari Grist has joined the Offsetter’s team in a new role as Vice President Marketing and Business Development. Kari is a senior marketing leader in Vancouver with over 20 years strategic marketing and brand management experience, including marketing for organizations with triple bottom lines. She has a proven track record of building brands, building business and creating award winning work. We are excited that she is joining our dynamic and growing team at Offsetters,” said Tansey.
Between 2001 and 2007 Grist was VP Marketing for Vancity, Canada’s largest credit union and the first financial institution in North America to become carbon neutral. Under her leadership Vancity received numerous national and international marketing awards including being named Marketer of the Year by the American Marketing Association (BC Chapter). Prior to Vancity she spent 18 years in various marketing roles with both Canadian Airlines and Wardair.

Ms. Grist currently sits on the board of Hope Air, a national not for profit that supports Canadians travelling for medical treatment. Kari graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce and Business Administration.
